Thyme is a member of the Mint family with gray-green leaves and aromatic fragrance. With a slightly minty and lemony flavor, this herb goes well with anything from roasted meats to fresh vegetables! Fresh Thyme is an excellent addition to corn! Whether fresh or frozen, the sweetness and tenderness of corn melds wonderfully with the slightly minty and lemony flavor of Thyme. Mix together corn, Thyme and butter for a simple yet delicious side dish.

Care & Handling

Selection: 

Look for vibrant, gray-green colored leaves that are free from dark spots or yellowing.

Storage: 

Wash and dry thoroughly and wrap in a damp paper towel in a plastic bag.

Preparation: 

Remove from leaves and add at the very end of a dish to minimize the loss of its delicate flavor from overheating.
