Little Gem Lettuce Hearts Topped with Bread Crumbs & Almonds

    1/4 cup finely chopped Green Giant™ Fresh Curly Parsley (from 2 oz. bag)

    1 package (6 count) Green Giant™ Fresh Little Gem Lettuce Hearts

    1 stick butter 

    3 cloves garlic, minced 

    1/2 cup smoked almonds, chopped 

    1 teaspoon red pepper flakes 

    2 cups Progresso® Panko crispy bread crumbs 

    Lemon slices, if desired

  • Directions

    1. In 12-inch skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic, almonds and red pepper flakes. Stir in bread crumbs until coated with butter. Cook and stir about 5 minutes or until bread crumbs are lightly toasted; stir in parsley. 
    2. Cut each head of lettuce in half lengthwise. Top each cut side with bread crumb mixture. Arrange on serving plate; garnish with lemon slices.
