1 tablespoon finely chopped Green Giant® Fresh Red Onion
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons white wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
10 cups bite-size pieces Green Giant® Fresh Romaine Hearts
4 cups Green Giant® Fresh Mixed Salad Greens (from 10-oz bag)
2 red apples, cut into bite-size pieces
1 cup crumbled blue or Gorgonzola cheese (4 oz)
1 cup walnut halves, toasted
1. In medium bowl, mix dressing ingredients with wire whisk until sugar is dissolved (dressing will be thick).
2. In very large bowl (at least 4-quart), gently mix salad ingredients. Just before serving, pour dressing over salad; toss to coat.
How-To: - To toast walnuts, sprinkle in ungreased heavy skillet.
Cook over medium heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently until nuts begin to brown, then stirring constantly until nuts are golden brown.
