Basil isn’t just crazy good for you. This herb is so flavorful, it’s a great addition to just about any meal or dish, hot or cold! Sliced, chopped, ripped or pureed—basil is always the flavor of fresh.

Care & Handling

Selection: 

Good quality basil should have bright, green leaves, an inviting aroma and minimal bruising. Avoid basil that has overly wilted or blackened.

Storage: 

Rinse basil leaves in water, wrap in paper towel and store in plastic container or bag. It can last for up to one week refrigerated.  

Preparation: 

Basil can be sliced and sprinkled over a pizza, torn into a salad, muddled into a drink or pureed into pesto. The possibilities are endless!
